Dear Mom and Dad!

Well it sounds like you guys had a great week! I have for sure missed you guys! are you ready for changes??? I.............................. did not have changes nor did Elder Merrill!!! It was so awesome!

Just my one son, elder Sanchez! But I received a new so named Elder Lopez from Guatemala! He is super awesome and very humble! I like Him a lot! I am working with Elder Rodriguez, and I'm happy to be with him as well!

I loved that story that Dad sent! It is super touching! I thought we were a family boring that would never get to be apart of the Willie Martin  hand cart company haha, but it was very moving! I have so much more love for that event now! Thanks for sharing that Dad!

I have received my return date as well... it is the 10th of December as well haha!

I loved the pics of Laubs in Idaho! Looks like they had a blast! I was happy to hear that everyone is doing good, even though you are all SSTTRRUUGGLLIINNGG from the heat! Poor Elphy outside in her black fir! I'm sure mom is watching her like crazy! poor phubs! :) haha

We are doing great! Like I said last week, this letter was going to be huge letter because I could not write that much last week, so be prepared!

So anyway lets start with Monday! last Monday was P-day, and we went to teach our awesome investigator named Angel! He has such an amazing story, so I will just have to tell it all! So about 4 weeks in the past he was a very active member of the catholic church! He had a very special assignment! I do not know if you have ever seen a catholic church before, but usually there is the father up front that teaches in purple, and in front of him are younger kids in white that are like his little helpers! That is what Angel did! He was training to become a father in the future, and out of no where he had one of his friends that is a member that invited him to come to our church! It took him a few Sundays to finally accept the invitation, but he finally came, and that is when we met him! We set up a return appt. and began to teach! He had not told us about his conversion until the past Monday! So after the first time in church he went home that night and asked God what was the path he should take, and that he wanted his answer in a dream. That night he had a dream, and saw himself being guided by the Lord through the Hallways of our church!!!!! And from that night he has been very anxious to get baptized in the church! Very crazy right?? He is such an awesome kid! He is 17. That was Monday!

On Tuesday we received changes which is always a stress! But like I said before I did not have changes nor did my brother! Elder Merrill and I were so happy! haha. But right after we received the changes, we received an even greater change... The APs called us and told us we have to change the way we pick people up for changes. Usually Tuesday night all of the missionaries from Rivas and Nandaime sleep up here in Jinotepe because from Here to Rivas is like an hour drive. But the APs said that President wants us to wake up early Wednesday morning and go down to Rivas in our rented bus to pick up the missionaries in these two cities.... We did the math, we had to wake up at 2:00am. Tuesday Elder Merrill and I baptized this cool family from the area of Jinotepe because they had asked us to baptize them! They are super awesome! they completely changed their lives to become apart of the church! Very cool!

Wednesday morning to get to the Change meeting at 8:00am.... So that is what happened haha. Wednesday was such an long day..... then after the change meeting we had to drop off the missionaries back in their areas rather than just letting them take a bus and having the District Leader do that.... I did the math and I drove like 300 miles that day in a bus haha AWFUL! But that is going to be every change meeting now... so I guess, like always here in the mission., you learn to adapt!

Thursday was then leader council! We did not get  beaten up about the zone! We baptized 17 as a zone this past month! We put the Goal for the month of July to be 24! I know if we work hard enough we will get it!

Friday was our zone meeting,. As DL,  we put this together to help build the zone up! We talked about the coming baptisms, and about how to put baptism dates on the first contact using lesson 2 ( the plan of Salvation) which was really great! The zone loved it!
Saturday was the first day we had in the area all week, which was great! We committed everyone to church and we brought 13! super awesome!

And Here we are now Monday again! I will email G'ma for the package! It was awesome! I loved the Chocolates and the Dots!!!! They are so good!

I now have a new suit that rocks! It is so awesome! You should be able to see pictures of it in the pictures I sent!

I love you guys!

P.S. Have a great 4th of July! The last one before I am home again! Make it a big one!!!!! :)

Dear Mom and Dad!

Happy Fathers day Dad! I am grateful for you and for all you do! Sorry I could not call ;) I promise I will call you next one! :) haha I am doing great! My letter is going to be really short tonight because all day today and yesterday I was in Rivas looking for a new apartment for a pair of new missionaries that are going to be coming down this Wednesday.  This Wednesday, are the changes, so we will see what happens. I do not think I will have changes... I hope. I do not want that! I am starting to like this area.  It is really hard, but we are starting to have success!

We are going to baptize our investigator this Saturday, hopefully. Unfortunately , he smoked two weeks ago, so we had to change the date of his baptism.

This week we are not going to be sleeping at all. Like I said we have like 0 time to write right now.  It is 9 o'clock, so I am just trying to let you know that I am doing great and I love you! I will tell you guys everything that happens this coming week! Just pray that I will have the strength to keep myself awake and I can work hard please! There is a lot on my plate this week...

I love you guys! I took pictures of your letters, so I can read them tonight when I get back to the apartment! I love you guys! Do not be upset that I did not write or that I did not read your emails! I hope you guys know I look forward to reading your emails every week! They are the greatest!

I put some pictures on Drop box of the past week!

Love you guys!

Hey Mom and Dad!

How are you guys doing?? Sorry I am writing kind of late, we just got back from a trip to Managua! I have to get my residency here renewed, so I have been gone all day pulling out police records and stuff, but Just another day here in Nicaragua! :) haha I loved your letters! How cool that you guys got to go and see the Utes! I loved that picture of Ash! :) Hey I just wanted to let you know that I am having a little Nica make me a new suit because my suit pants tots torn last week, and I figured I would take advantage of a sweet hand tailored suit for cheap haha :) I had to pay like 20 bucks for the fabric, and then another 40 bucks for the Work, but I just saw the half made suit jacket tonight, and it looks awesome! I will send you some picks next week of the new suit! :)

Your dinner banquet sounded awesome as well! I cant wait to play with these pooches! They seem like a hand full! :) Youth Conference sounds super awesome as well!!! :) Boating and all the other fun stuff! Awesome! :) I am sure laubs had a blast!

Well I have great news! WE FINALLY BAPTIZED!!!!!! :) DENIS!!!! :) It was so awesome! The night before his baptism he said the prayer and it was the most humble prayer I had ever heard in my entire life. The spirit was so strong and we were all teary-eyed as we left! We are so happy for that guy! I love that brother so much! Its crazy how much a missionary falls in love with the investigators and how much of the Love of Christ you feel for these people! So they got married on Friday afternoon, and that was super awesome! Him and his wife Araceli were so happy! And then they gave us this super nummy bread with chicken meat baked on the inside! We found the bread shop that sells that bread now, so we hit that up almost every morning! super nummy, and they also gave us homemade orange juice! They are so sweet! Then on Saturday was his baptism! And it was awesome, after he stood up in the water he looked at everyone and gave everyone the two thumbs up! :) Super awesome! He is one of my favorite converts of all time! :) I have a bunch of Photos on drop box! After the baptism we went and celebrated as a companionship and bought some spicy chicken wings from a place near the church! Elder Sanchez bought a mini pizza! super funny!

This Weekend we are going to baptize and Marry another family! They are both preparing to be baptized, but the wife will be baptized later on in July, but the Husband, Humberto will be baptized this weekend! We are going to go to his house this weekend and talk with them to make sure they are all cool about the baptism! Humberto had a total change of heart this past week because he did not go to church, and was still struggling with Coffee, so we did like a big "show" to help him understand that we were disappointed as well as the Lord, in the decisions he had been taking lately, and from Monday and on he has been obedient with not drinking Coffee! He is awesome! :) We put a baptism date with he Companion, Carmen yesterday night, and she accepted it without a single problem! It was super awesome! She is super pumped for marriage and baptism!

To answer your questions mom about the area, we are still working in Las Villas in Jinotepe, but we have just added onto our area. If you go onto Google Maps, and look at the city of Jinotepe, if you look to the north western corner, you will see a little blip in the middle of a bunch of green that says Dolores. That is our area now too! :) we are teaching like 6 cool people from their that are preparing for baptism in July as well! It is a way cool family that has already listened to missionaries and the mom and the older brother have been baptized! we are teaching the other four daughters that are super awesome and are very interested in the church!

Well I hope I could answer all of your questions! The zone is doing great! right now we have 10 baptisms for the month of June, and we should end with around 20!

I love you guys! Thanks for all of your support!

Dear Mom and Dad

How are you doing??? I loved the pictures! Especially the pictures of Ash! I love that dudes hair! It is so awesome! Tell him I told him that! :) He looks so much older than 11.... The temple pictures are awesome! Sounds like you guys had a great week though! I remember burning my homework too haha Good memories! Its good to see the back yard! :) You guys should take some pictures of the house! I have forgotten what it all looks like haha Is my smoker still back there???? I forgot about that!! I think you guys told me on mothers day that there were birds living in it haha :) Get a picture of basket of clothes in my room , and my chest too! :) Sorry I just want to see that things still exist there! haha.

Anyway it is good to hear from you again! Tomorrow I will officially have 182 days left... that makes me so sad! But I just am going to keep working like a horse! :)
This weekend we should actually be baptizing a very cool guy named Denis! We have been teaching him for like 2 months now, and we finally talked to him about marriage with his wife, and she and him want to get married, which is awesome!!!!!! He is such cool guy! I will always remember this guy! I'm really glad that we were able to teach him! Just keep praying that everything will work out for us! :) The next week after we should be baptizing another cool guy named Humberto! He is super cool! He is a son of an all member family! and is super great! This past Sunday he did not go, we are not sure why, but we are going to go tonight and see what happened.

We had a change of area because in our interviews, President told us that we need to find a more productive part of Jinotepe, so we are now focusing our efforts on this other little city outside of Jinotepe called "Dolores" and on Sunday we were able to bring 8 people from there to church! In total we were able to bring 14 people to church. Hopefully we can get some more positive people teaching from this new area change! Our area right now is a desert... All of the Interviews went well, President just wants us to baptize, so he talked with us and gave us some ideas on how to get things moving better. President is very happy with the Zone right now, and I just hope we can get the zone to work harder!
I hope you guys have a great day and week! i love you guys! Sorry for the short letter, but I do not have a lot of time left.

I love you guys!

Dear Mom and Dad!

How are you guys doing?? I loved your letters! That is a really cool experience you had dad with letting that man get re-baptized! :) I see the joy of that a lot, and it is like seeing a little piece of heaven on earth! Also I love the idea of the golf league! I could not help but smile at that, and I will definitely be joining that when I get back! :) The Pictures are awesome! Elder Merrill and I were just talking about how much we want a Hires burger as well as some good training table fries! :) He is an awesome companion! WE are literally like the same person just in different bodies haha we think exactly the same, and we get along so well! Our kids are doing great!

As for our ZL duties, tomorrow our zone has interviews with President here in Jinotepe. This is something normal that is done every three months. However I have not had an interview with President Russell in 14 months because of how much time I was in the office, and when the last interviews came, I was in Bluefield's! The last time I had one was when I was in my last three weeks of Training in Masaya! hahahaha I'm kind of nervous because we will talk about the zone, as well as the area.... The Zone is throwing fire right now, we are just struggling in the area... but we will see what happens! :) I am just trying to have a positive attitude. Whatever he will tell me, i know it is inspired, and is something I need to change! :)

I have been able to study a little bit in chapter 6 in PMG. I figured out what needs to change, and I have goals and plans to put them in practice! I really hope that my life and spirit can keep changing in these last 6 months. I have spent so long helping others that I have neglected my own personally progress. I have started to read 15 minutes in the mornings and 15 minutes at night time of the BOM to help build my own personal testimony! Like I said I hope to see the improvements in the coming weeks!

We have been trying so hard to find a ton of new investigators this past week. We have found some really cool people! One of them is a guy named Humberto! He is a son of a family of members. He is the only one that is not member! He is wanting to change his life, and has some problems but nothing is too big for the Atonement of Jesus Christ! He is progressing for the 20th of June!

The other cool guy we are teaching right now is Denis. I think I mentioned him in the last weeks email, but he is the guy that has 81 years and lives with his muchacha that is 50.... hahahaha She is super catholic, and wants nothing with baptism, but Denis is AWESOME! I love teaching that guy! He is so smart, and understands everything we teach! He is reading the BOM right now, and is loving it! I love seeing people progress and slowly watching the seed of faith get planted and watching the people wait anxiously for the small plant break through the soil of their souls! It is super awesome! :)

Sorry for the last week letter! I always try to be positive and keep up the smile! But sometimes the world and all of the problems it carries weighs a person down a lot.

I love you guys so much!
